Jamie’s story
Jamie founded UK Sniffer Dogs in 2018, after years at a Hertfordshire dog training company where his scent classes were the most popular, sell-out sessions on the timetable. Out of that hands-on work — classes, behavioural consultations, and a lot of research — came a structured formula any owner can follow at home.
“I’ve seen time and time again how scentwork can transform dogs and enrich their lives — and the lives of their owners.” On the classes themselves: “fun, rewarding, and highly addictive — consider that your official warning!”
And on who it’s for: “There’s no dog that’s excluded.” Puppies, seniors, nervous dogs, reactive dogs, every breed and every crossbreed — the whole point of the method is that any dog can do it.
Jamie delivers the instructor courses with Gemma, whose name you’ll spot in almost every course review — the pair of them have built every section of the syllabus together.
The mission
To improve dog’s lives through nosework. By applying our knowledge as dog trainers and scent instructors, we have developed a program that will enable owners to give their dogs positive scent experiences, not only teaching them to work and play with scent, but using scent to rectify problems in pet dogs when it comes to behaviour.
